As regards the fact that on login the gnome 'screen resolution' icon is
displayed in the gnome panel you can simply launch Gnome Screen

Ah -- So I can effectively ignore the warning...got it, thanks. Just
to be sure through I downloaded the latest firehol and replace the
firehole and get-iana scripts and viola...it seemed to work just fine.

I work in Dell Latitude D830 with fresh Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex.
My Nautilus version is 2.24.1.
When i'm on a directory with videos icons over 100% zooming, cpu usage for this
nautilus process up to 100%.
The only way to kill it is 'kill -15

It would be nice to change the user visible text of gufw that references
"gufw" to be "firewall". For example, the tray icon tool tip says "Gufw
enabled - Deny all". For the average user it would make more sense to
say "Firewall enabled - Deny all".

Yes, it has been very consistent. Every time I click on it, I can tell
by the disk activity that it starts, but it doesn't open. Clicking the
icon brings it up, and it always comes up on the workspace to the left
rather than the current one.
