Someone at Ubuntu thought that intel driver was better and i810 was
obsolete, so they dropped i180 hehehe...
Problem is that intel driver has a lot of troubles with i810, being
unmaintained or not it's the only driver that works well with the vast
majority of i810 configurations.

I have the same version of TB and Ubuntu and had segfaults similarly
upon downloading IMAP headers with the option "Make the messages in my
Inbox available when I am working offline" checked. This was caused by

I made Live USB from System/Administrartion and tried the installer from
the desktop. Partitions were not listed.
Then I tried only-ubiquity option. This time partitions of USB stick
were listed but hard disc was still not detected.
I feel this is a serious type of bug.

Intel driver + DRI + GDM is not working, adding option to not use DRI in
xorg.conf (Option "NoDRI") solves the problem and GDM start
nicely -- for the first time in several days :)

HiI have the same kind of problem (dd and klogd taking up a lot of
processor cycles). Appears almost daily. If additional info is needed,

Running with XaaNoImageWriteRect and svn599 packages I get correct
resolution only after system startup. If I log out, resolution is
broken.

I haven't got around to moving to Intrepid yet. I think this happened on
a Swiss rental DVD where the "first" language was German and the DVD
also had English (which was my language setting). My guess was that it
was simply selecting the first language. I will have to try renting
again after moving

whether I had the 0 Byte initrd-problem or not. When I read about this
problem, I already had some update-initramfs'es done and the file had a

It's still happening with me in 2.0.0.17 from an up-to-date Hardy. I'm
having desktop effects enabled and would like to keep it that way. I
