As suggested on the upstream bug, likewise-open does come back from
unplugged-mode, after "winbind cache time" seconds (default is 900).
Setting this to a lower value will make it reconnect faster, though it
might not be needed, as using cache credentials is perfectly valid if
its not permanent.

Same problem with FreeBSD 6.2 and FreeBSD 7.0 even with the latest
kvm-76. This does not happen with regular qemu though so it must be a
bug in KVM.
Shutdown does not help because no ACPI daemon is running in the guest

Ah sorry about the comment on maintainer-mode; upstream isn't using
autotools at all.
I'm not sure the autotools class is the best one in this case; makefile

sometimes there's some garbage in the windows, or in the place of minimized
windows on the desktop
one of the videos i ran for testing also had some garbage on it, (different
from the original bug) which disappeared aft
Still hanging sometimes. As said above: Not all LVM partitions are
listed in /dev/vg01. Unfortunately, busybox does _not_ have lvm
utilities built-in or similar, so just pressing ctrl+alt+del is a
solution.
Any further ideas on this? udev? Timing problems?

Similar experience today.
I ran "sudo apt-get install openjdk-6-jre" and during installation Writer
crashed. Unfortunately, I do not remember during which package exactly the
crash occured, but in one of the dependencies.
I'm running intrepid, latest packages at the time of this post.
