I'm having this problem and I just tried the pci=nomsi fix, but
unfortunately it doesn't work :-(

It boots just as I would have expected it would have, however I just had

The built in bluetooth adapter on my laptop must have died just around
the time I upgraded to Intrepid.

1. Sadly yes, this bug is repeatable. I reproduced it 4-5 times. I'm now
running 2.26-5 kernel in intrepid and it works fine. I will go back to 2.6.27
and give you the result of the mount command (I did not notive anything myself
after cheking the result of mount, but did not copy it)

The changes for 1.5.0 are modest - a few bug fixes and some cosmetic
changes - so this should be pretty safe to upload. It'll get us onto
the official xserver 1.5.0 release, which attains our principle X.org
goal for Intrepid.

Since I installed the Alpha version of Intrepid Ibex, I get a
segmentation fault (core dumped) each time I try to launch nautilus.
So I tried by many way to get it repaired (nautilus --check, who doesn't
seem to see anything wrong, remove nautilus and install it again,
