My happiness with "noapic" has waned, because I am now getting hard
lockups requiring a power cycle. It seems to happen when I am using
Skype and waggle my USB mouse around, so I guess it's causing a lot of
interrupts and overwhelming something.

anything manually. I tried to install postgresql on a different machine and no
errors occurred there. So it must be my machine. If you want me to post more

installed. If you get past that and try to add a folder there are no

1. Delete the following lines from the section in the
/usr/share/gconf/defaults/05_panel-default-setup.entries file

2. run
update-gconf-defaults

Alt+F2 /usr/lib/gnome-volume-manager/gnome-volume-manager
Will allow you to mount the usb device correctly 1x, successive mounts after
dismounting fail unless you 'restart' gvm.

with group root instead of plugdev, so that the usb device is unusable

Probably only minor, really. This is a bug from an SVN version of
python-gdata we ship along side Conduit because the distros are normally
too out of date. We don't use the Google Apps API, so this bug is just a
warning and doesn't break Conduit in anyway shape or form - you can
still sync your Goo

Hi Axel,
since the problem was LyX only, I preferred to keep my sources.list as
it is and only update LyX. This way, I also got the latest version
(1.5.5) of LyX. Of course this is not the fastest solution, since
compiling LyX on my machine takes about 40 minutes.

Bugs,
I've been successfully using 2.2 on another computer with Windows XP to
do Mail Merging.
I imagine it's possible there's some Java setting that is preventing
internet connection for OOo, but I have not been able to find anything
on the web to solve this issue after many hours of research.
