I am experiencing that problem after running update. I am using the last update
now.
I don't know what package causes it.
I've tried to reinstalled Hardy on virtualbox, login without or with wrong
password will be denied.

Solution: (For me anyway)
Gabriel's post of his environment kind of struck me with the answer. I
also have a BCM4310 USB Controller and was using NDISWrapper before
upgrading to Hardy. I noticed after the upgrade that I was using the
"wl" alternate driver and it was showing up as one of my "Rest

to install Kubuntu 7.04? Have you tried with any other versions of

You are right. The policy won't be decided by this bug. I have provided
two different debdiffs. One of them uses gksu, and the other uses su-to-
root. I feel there is no point in further debate over which is the

I wanted to confirm that the font display bug was present in my machine, and
that removing libQtCore.so.4 and libQtGui.so.4 solves almost all issues. That
is, fonts are now rendering fine, but I still am getting a lot of "X Error of
failed request: RenderBadPicture (invalid Picture parameter)"

Thank you Ralph, I'm kinda new to this (haven't had to report a bug/crash
before!) ... I found and tried to enable apport, but I couldn't save the
changes. Do I need to open a terminal? Could you help me with the command if
that is what I have to do?

I tried building 0.9.2-3 from source with debugging symbols. Sure, I can
run it but it behaves completely differently if run through any
debugger.
The bug suddenly vanishes when running d3lphin through gdb, kgdb or ddd. With
or without -nograb option.
