I solved my problem... it was a simple permission problem. All you need
to do is to chmod +x the entire folder... (chmod -R +x FolderName).
Dont know if this is the answer for all problems, but for mine it

You would have to add "apt-setup/proposed=true" (without the quotes)
somewhere on the append line. Another option is to put the line in your
preseed/kickstart file, I'm not sure about the syntax then.
