I used dpkg-divert to avoid upgrade could delete the patch.

hmm...when I set Audacious 1.5.0 to use pulseaduio for output, it don`t
play nothing, even after deleting ~/.config/audacious. Settings button
of pulseaudio is disabled (grey)... Back to Alsa for now. (Kubuntu 8.04,
with latest updates).

I retested this problem by using the adept interface for the change in
the sources.list file. It does not check the input for correct input.
In addition, when the "deb" at the beginning is missing, it puts all
subsequent additions into the same line.
