Re-opening, because I see the same thing in Hardy, using kwin-kde4 with
compositing features enabled. I suspect that it may be related to 3d
acceleration, hence why Alexei found it didn't occur with metacity.

Changing the importance of the bug wouldn't make a difference, upstream
known the issue is there and it's going to be handled for them, however
you if you want to see this fixed right away you can always submit
patches to the upstream report or here and we can forward it to the

I've applied this in our package but better would be to fix it upstream
in KOffice 2 (which may well replace KOffice in intrepid). If you find
a suitable icon in KDE 4 and want to make a patch for KOffice 2 to use
it I'm happy to get it applied upstream.
