I had the same problem, but after I updated my i-Pod Nano firmware it
seemed to work fine. In other words, it looks like the original firmware
was crashing rhythmbox. I'll try use it some more to confirm that it
still works properly, but meanwhile, you can try this workaround.

Okay, I've updated the machine - it's current. I've plugged in the
Wacom tablet and let it sit for 5 hours. The machine did, indeed

I am also having the same issue on a Dell Vostro 1500 with an Nvidia
Geoforce 8400GS card. I enable the restricted driver and am required to
reboot. The reboot results in a white screen. My only option at that
point is to boot into recovery and repair X.

I have been wondering if this problem has something to do with the
wireless driver module. My current module (with Hardy) is "b43.ko" but I
recall that it used to be "bcm43xx.ko" - could it be that this change
