I just started seeing these crashes in the last couple of days too,
although I also just installed the linux-phc version of acpi_cpufreq,
and ran the optimize script to find the lowest possible safe voltages to
undervolt my CPU.

Richard Laager: for me, typing into such small area feels very
uncomfortable. Its psychological thing: I feel restricted and want to
enlarge the typing area to get some free space, even if I'm not going to
use it. Its like having big rooms in your flat: of course, you can live
in small and cramped

John: there are obviously ligatures in the the DejaVu font in Hardy (you
can see other GTK apps using them). We can also see that Firefox is not
misrendering justified text anymore, so it does look like it has been
fixed. We knew that the Firefox guys were rewriting the text rendering
code for 3.

I reported this bug before when I upgraded to gutsy gibbon. Same problem on
Hardy Heron. When upgrading the newly created menu.lst contains root statements
with root (hd0,0) instead of (hd0,1).
