"reboot=b" didn't make any change on "Machine 3" (Asus M2A-VM). I did,
however, find a few more things on both desktop machines (as the laptop
is still on 7.10, I'll focus on the two 8.04 machines):

Cannot confirm this. I have both "radeon" and "fglrx" drivers in my

I had a similar problem in the Release Version of Hardy. But the file
wx.pth was actually present in the python2.5/site-packages directory
(and pointing to the correct location) but it was impossible to import
wx. I imported wxversion and typed wxversion.select('2.8'), and then

There is no usr/share/apps/sim directory in a "sim-data" package. To
solve this problem I've taken a package sim-data from gutsy, and have
copied the directory/CONTENTS/usr/share/apps/sim in/usr/share/apps/on my
system. For unpacking I used Midnight Commander.
