Hi,
Debian experimental has new upstream release. This version is ported to GIO and
latest nautilus extension api.
A brief analysis indicated that Ubuntu changes will not be needed anymore. So I
believe it makes a sense to wait for while for the package to go in 'unstable'
and then do sync.

trunk and will be released along version 0.2.4.

Verification done:
- with gnome-settings-daemon 2.22.1-0ubuntu1 after followed the test case, and
clear the show_desktop key the wallpaper can't be changed.
- with gnome-settings-daemon 2.22.1-0ubuntu2 (proposed), followed the test
case, the wallpaper can be changed after clear the show_desktop
My Firestarter was automatically started. My problem started when i edited my
/etc/sudoers to stay more secure.
I added this line: user_name ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: /usr/sbin/firestarter

Ok, now this is strange. I just tried it again, and now using pulseaudio works.
I could play both "Experience Ubuntu.ogg" and "ubuntu-sax.ogg" at the same time
(one in Totem, one in gnome-mplayer) without any problems.
Using pavucontrol I could control both streams appropriately.

- Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard (nForce 2 chipset)
- Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 (AGP)
- proprietary nvidia-glx-new 169.12 (or nvidia-glx) driver
- Ubuntu 8.04 (Linux version 2.6.24.16.18-generic)
When I try to resume from hibernation or suspend, I obtain a black screen

Hewus, thanks for following up on this. Unfortunately, I no longer have
access to any of the hardware pertaining to that report; both the laptop
and the scanner have been sold. I'll find another scanner and try it
with Hardy.

Hi,
I'm getting something very similar to this, first with GG, now with HH.
Using Firefox, suddenly focus gets stuck in particular layer of the
screen, and it takes significant effort to access the other layers.
Sometimes right-clicking works, although it's very erratic and I have no
way of reprod
