I have tried various things and spent over half an hour trying to reproduce with no luck (two seperate occasions: a few hours after first seeing the bug, and just now). It was definitely putting 'Backspace' into the keybinding when the problem occurred - very frustrating!
So I would guess you should close the issue as "non-repeatable" or equivalent.
