I have the same problem here, I have a remote printer (which is plugged
on my desktop pc) configured on my laptop pc, and when I am at work
(with my laptop), when I click on "print" in gedit for example, when I

just make wine use a virtuall desktop with exactly the same size as your normal
desktop...
maybe not the prettiest way to solve this, but this way you can use

it's not working in Ubuntu. So whoever has it working must have put it
there themselves and thus know how to configure their install. Doesn't

No, the problem is gone. It took a few days (don't remember how many

The issue is a manpower one, somebody needs to prepare the update, ask
for freeze exception, somebody else needs to review the changes, etc.
There is hundred of bugs that would be nice to get fixed but we don't
have the manpower to work on everything right now so we have to

The upstream bug tracker is bugzilla.gnome.org, you can start a
discussion about why a very small team is not able to fix thousand of
issues a week on code they didn't write but that's not going to bring a

Hum, maybe what I call locking is not clear. It's not possible to run
several gphoto applications on the camera are the same time, so once
it's mounted by gvfs f-spot will not be able to use the camera for
example and give a locking error message which is not clear to the user.
