I can confirm this bug in Hardy Beta.
In my opinion, the status line should be in sync with the listing to
avoid confusion. So either both should remain static (as they are meant
to now), or both should be dynamic and update in real-time. Last
mentioned is probably a new feature request though.

hyperair, getting it in Hardy practically means bombing #ubuntu-devel
with requests, but James Westby promised to take a look at it tomorrow,
so probably best is just test your deb till death and provide test
results here so anyone could be sure this fix doesn't 'unfix' anything

I discovered that if I change GDM Themes a couple of times that Usplash
will work like it is supposed to.
I am wondering if Usplash is being called late, it could be that the
network manager errors are asking to be displayed.
This could be a problem with Network Manager or GDM.

the video is WELL transformed and the CPU usage is low (using the

thread apply all bt full
I then quit and attached gdb again. I have all the dbgsym libs
installed, but I'm still getting messages about missing symbols on libc
related things. I'm not actually sure I have

as i mentioned earlier the one line explanation of 'ifconfig' command
was unnecessary is basic commands section as it has been explained in
detain in the networking section. so i have created a patch after
removing that particular part.

I'm seeing something that may or may not be related.
I'm now on ff3b5 and I'm finding that flash is very rarely working; it
sometimes does, but most of the time I'm left with a grey
rectangle; however it *is* working on Konqueror fairly reliably (OK,
nspluginwrapper still segs occasionally in Ko
