Use a parallel centronics printer cable with your R51. It works perfect for
both windows (any) and Linux (any)

if you install the package "gnome-vfs-obexftp" with the new bluez-utils, you
will able to use nautilus to browse the memory of bluetooth devices.
Right click on the bluetooth applet , and choose browse device , you should see
an icon on the desktop where the phone is mounted and nautilus comes up
Fixed for me, now I can log on but there is an issue with xorg (nvidia
card).

I've got the same problem. The worst part is, I have 2 of these cards, a
256 meg x1650 and a 512 meg x1650 pro. They both kick butt in Vista but

As far as I know, X.org has never supported autoconfiguration of wacom.
We have had wacom by default on xorg.conf files, but never working X +
wacom without xorg.conf knowing about it. I think this change has been
a long time coming, as the default gutsy xorg.conf simply had the wacom

Just to add, if one needs to check how effective the sysctl's are, I
suggest the following:
watch -n 1 grep -A 1 dirty /proc/vmstat
also if one wants to see which blocks are being flushed and by which
process one can do:
sudo echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/block_dump
and looking at the output from dmesg
I don't think it was specific for that video in particular, but I'll try to use
Konqueror some more and see if it happens again.
In general, many crashes I've experienced with KDE4 and Konqueror is really
hard to reproduce since they happen so randomly.
I know the saying "if you can't reproduce i
funny thing is, that this file simply does not exist, at least on my
filesystem. there are several install.rdf files, but a sudo find / -name
install-siv* returned zero results.
