in a row when dpkg first removes linux-ubuntu-modules-$VER and then
purges it. Using a versioned trigger would reduce the number of calls to
one, or to zero if the equivalent linux-image package is removed as

The patch is no longer usable as the do_suspend function now uses
"/usr/lib/hal/hal-system-power-pmu sleep || echo -n "mem" >
/sys/power/state" instead of the "pm-pmu suspend" that, my guess, was
being called when the patch was written. The error comes from
"/usr/lib/hal/hal-system-power-pmu sleep
So I've altered the status to confirmed since this problem affects other
users too, it seems. For me, dist-upgrade often triggers this bug.

Hello
ProjectM from Hardy repository runs stable but "achingly slow" on
pentiumM with Integrated Intel 915G graphics. Cannot get it past 2 fps,
cpu runs at 100%, whole system slows down but is stable; all function
keys work properly. Changing .projectM/config.inp doesnt have any
effect...

This is just a "Daemon Tools" functionality which mostly all
Windows users knows about.
And the reason is to avoid burning and unpacking. Directly use
a ISO file without any hazzle.
