I had just installed avant-window-navigator and was setting up launchers
for it, I had already setup a pidgin launcher, but did not have pidgin
displayed on my desktop, the error occurred when I clicked on the gnome-
panel icon for pidgin.

I confirm that no-xv is working, though it is a bit CPU intensive.
the setting "TexturedVideo" "false" is the default now.

I've had the same experience as Cliff Hall; however I'm using
SoundJuicer 2.22 with Ubuntu 8.04 (beta).
The xingmux parameter makes no difference to how the CD rips--I still
end up with 128 cbr files instead of 160-192 vbr or 160-256 vbr :-(

keyboard preferences I choose to swap control and capslock positions. The
swapping actually works, but the capslock indicator on the laptop (a led light)
still response to the real capslock key.

I don't think that our problems are ndiswrapper related. If you can connect
(if I have understood) only with the usb network adapter plug it ... I think
that our problems are more related to dhcp or network-manager ... but I'm not a
guru, probably I'm

With Hardy beta, Nautilus displays "vacances, Saint-Tropez" keywords while
right clicking on the file (Image tab),
therefore i guess it is an EOG bug
