This doesn't seem to be a bug - you appear to have killed the upgrade
yourself by interrupting it.
On slow machines I think that upgrading ubuntu-docs can indeed take
quite a long time, you just have to leave it and be patient!

fusion works properly, I am getting decent framerates too (before it

I really think this should be sorted properly. It seems like it would be
fixable with a simple check. It causes all kinds of problems. Fixing it
solved the following problems for me:
-Can not login via gdm.
-Cannot load firmware for ipw2200
-Mouse not working
-Cannot login via tty2
-Cannot use ssh

Forget my last comment, the cause for the abnormal boot behaviour of my
system was that I had messed up boot options in /boot/grub/menu.lst.
To boot my system I am using grub from my Gutsy installation and thus
the menu.lst doesn't get rewritten if I install Hardy. Some time ago I
had added 'resum

single-user mode boot results in a ncurses like display but with no text.
In normal-boot VTs only have blinking cursor without any text. The cursors are
positioned where it should be if there was text. I can login into console &

But only sort of. Same problem as amiticas and LordMephisto.
My card is an Inprocomm IPN 2220 with the correct driver (neti2220) in
the latest version available, worked just fine with gutsy (2.6.22).

When shutting down hardy-beta, there are lots of network manager warning
messages displayed. These seem to be mostly about "no debugging symbols
found". I don't know if this is intended for a beta release or not. I
did a fresh install of hardy beta on an old 800 MHz p3 desktop
