This is solved differently in restricted-manager's successor (jockey).
The drivers won't be shown at all if the packages are not available.
We also enable restricted by default, and if you install Gobuntu (which
doesn't do this), then avoiding non-free drivers is the right thing to
do anyway.

I was able to reproduce this problem inconsistently (meaning sometimes
it hibernates and sometimes it doesn't) in trying to reproduce the error

The f-spot fix caused bug 21186, so I am reopening to
change the solution and use the --import approach that
was chosen.

This bug was reported at gnome almost 2 years ago. Still it is present
in Ubuntu. At least 2 version are affected: 7.10 and 8.04. I suspect
7.04, 6.10 and 6.04 have this problem as well (based on the date the bug
is reported at gnome).
The gnome bug talks about fixing it for gnome 2.14, 2.15, 2.16

I changed the configuration under Tools/Options in the menu.
There is a bug in the configurattion section for Writer/Web.
The units can be changed but they don't reflect in the rest of the section.

Eric, I know on Windows the Clear key works as a numlock key would, but
I was curious as to what the Clear key is originally supposed to be for
