ive got the same problem with evolution-data-server.
under hardy alpha6.
i had the problem with firefox thinking it was offline, but ive fixed it adding
the following to /etc/network/interfaces:
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
wireless-essid some_ESSID
auto wlan0
now it doesnt think its offline anymore.
I will try out the test later tonight. It does seem that the same device is
trying to be controlled by multiple methods, however. I can say that I've been
able to burn successfully (without rebooting) by using growisofs directly, and
that ejecting the "empty media icon" that appears on the gno

Amarok 1.3.4 is very old and a lot of things got fixed. Please try to reproduce
this on hardy when it is released.

some update that I did in the meantime. Specifically, psql now complains
correctly about failed authorization, instead of complaining about not
