Did you get it working or not? If you have other issues to discuss with the Elisa team please do so via the bugtracker you'll find at: https://code.fluendo.com/elisa/trac or the mailing list. The team is already aware of the issues you mention above (see the list of tickets on our trac) about the UI for settings. Now if you find Elisa "unstable", don't use it or report proper bugs and contribute to the project, this is what open-source is about, among others things. I personally use that software at home "in production", there are issues, yes, but we always work and do our best to improve it.
