Hang on, My PostgreSQL 8.3 installation was broken after doing a simple apt-get
install of it (well, with synaptic actually), and I haven't yet seen either
a) A way to fix it.
b) A way to stop the install from being broken in future either.

In hardy checkgmail installs fine. It recommends two packages libcrypt-
simple-perl which allows encryption of your password and libsexymm2 for
clicking links in checkgmail. libsexymm2 is the problem because it does
not appear to enable links as its supposed to.

see screenshot, I am now at work, Thunderbird 2.0.0.12 on WinXP using Imap

Meanwhile, I found, that amarok recognizes the play/pause buttons.
The change volume/mute can be easily set up in KMix with changing the
global settings. But after all, the nice change-volume-popup does not

Hey, im using ubuntu hardy heron alpha 6 with the 2.6.24-12-generic
kernel.
The system is logging out without any warnings, can have some connection to
when im listening to music
thats when it happens.

The sliders for gamma connection in the "Monitor&Display" module of system
settings does not work (currently on kubuntu hardy alpha 6).
To test:
- open a konsole (terminal if not under kubuntu)
- sudo displayconfig
- go to the "Color & Gam
Confirming due to upstream report.

Network Manager works fine with two other USB wifi adapters that I have,
neither use madwifi. Using network-admin or manually editing the config
files for wpa etc to configure the Atheros interface works however.
Seems it's a problem with Network Manager talking to the madwifi driver.

One of the updates has changed the problem
Now neither Nautilus or Thunar can see the camera ( does not mount camera like
it use to ). I can still move pictures from camera with F-spot but have no way
to delete pictures in camera.
It would be great if F-spot could remove pictures from camera
