Hello, I had the same issue and was able to correct it following this
procedure.

sudo dpkg -r flashplugin-nonfree
sudo dpkg --purge flashplugin-nonfree
sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

Jacob: Thank you for the pointer to Adobe, but this is a packaging
problem, not a code problem.  Something in the new firefox beta is
breaking the previously working plugin, and freshening the package fixes
it.  Some attention to what the Firefox package is overwriting will
likely fix this bug.
