The fix requires both GTK 2.10 and Eclipse 3.3. Given that Eclipse is
already up to 3.3.2, a package this critical, that is this out of date
is a bit shameful. I am just getting set up to do Java programming for
the first time in years, and the tools are not there!

Version 0.9.3 of qtiplot has been released on 2008-03-03. I've been using
qtiplot's SVN the past months to avoid crasher bugs like this. I hope we can
get the latest qtiplot into Hardy.
I've tested the file above with a locally compiled 0.9.3-rc3 on amd64 and
couldn't reproduce the problem.

I have a SD card reader inside my laptop that work correctly with
Windows XP. With Linux ubuntu Gutsy, it also worked correctly. Now with

I looked through the listing from the dpkg-query command and I didn't
see anything in /usr/X11R6 either. This makes me think that there was an
incomplete clean-up of a previous version. I have never installed
thunderbird on this system using any other method other then apt-get. I
did a distr-upgrad

(and restricted), there's not much the Ubuntu folks can do about it.
Acroread 8 seems to work well under gutsy with my collection of
pathological documents. So far, it has handled everything that I have
thrown at it.

tracker (I completely removed tracker from the gutsy system and didn't
encounter the problem anymore)

pre-existing problems though.
Building with debuild works fine. Building with dpkg-buildpackage or

I wonder why no one else is bothering about this.
I could not install Amarok under Gutsy at all due to this no matter what I
tried.
By far the easiest way I found to solve this is though:
Download both files with "Size mismatch" manually and install them with "dpkg
-i".
