Hi,
Just wanted to give my feedback on this.
I've got DVDs playing just fine on my Gutsy setup, without installing
gxine, libdvdplay0, or libdvdnav4.
I installed libdvdread, and executed the "sudo
/usr/share/doc/libdvdread3/install-css.sh" command.

or tiled (repeated). Also, it only seems to appear with large images. On
my computer images of sizes of 253x253 pixels are affected, but images
of 253x252 pixels are not.
I've attached a test case so you can try for yourself a
This is pretty odd. You say the installation terminated cleanly; if you
still have that installation, could you please attach
/var/log/installer/syslog and /var/log/installer/partman to this bug?

USB is a little more involved; you need to prepare the stick in a
special way. I don't think there's room to squeeze this into the boot
menu.
I'll ask for ideas on ubuntu-devel on making it clear what's going on
with regard to data.

Not obvious session is "live" from CD

Hey all,
I've got a little problem with the brightness,
when i lower the brightness with the function (fn) keys and when
the screen dims (due to idle) when i move the mouse the screen goes to the
original setting in power management (full brightness),
instead of what i choose (with the fn keys).
