Xorg hangs with a CPU 99.9%.
Ctrl+Alt+Backspace doesn't work.
Mouse can be moved on the screen but no reactions of any programs.

Yes, the LiveCD booted without an error message. The installer runs
fine, too, but cannot copy data and exits at some point. In my opinion,
the installer should during all times assume that something can go wrong
or that it is being aborted. I bet you could reproduce my problem by

I was unable to reproduce this using HPLIP 2.8.2 from source. I'll be
testing hplip in hardy in during my test round, which will be this
afternoon.
