I've been running 2.6.24-? on gutsy for weeks with no real problems. If

If we set timer frequency to an high value we reduce drastically
throughput. I suppose that most of the -server kernel users don't want
this. For this reason i set this bug reports as Invalid.
FYI -rt kernel have timer frequency set to 1000 Hz.
