Ok, I switched to a terminal an removed my cdrom-drive. The last thing I get on my console is: [ 554.587280] ata1: exception Emask 0x10 SAct 0x0 SErr 0x0 action 0xa frozen [ 554.587505] ata1: ACPI event After that the systems hangs. Of course there is a great chance for a data loss.
I recognize that I didn't post in hardy but in general ubuntu...
