Well, honestly, this is probably NOT an Ubuntu bug, but rather a
Flash/Firefox/web-page interaction. Still, entering text on a web page
should not cause an app. to go away. We just need someone more

Jackflap : I agree with you that we should all work to make things "just
working" and that this new standard is a bit frustrating, but all OS

The solution / workaround. Change the line (at bootup) linux
(hd0,1)/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.24-8-generic root=/dev/hda1 ro. Change /dev/hda1 to
/dev/sda1.
