I can confirm the work around posted by supernaicol, after downgrading grub my
two waiting kernel updates finaly installed succesfully.
The bug seems to be with the update-grub script, or the calling of it from

Because bluetooth did not work under Linux I booted Vista, turned on the
bluetooth (using software), went about my bluetooth business and shut
Vista down, without disabling it with the software. When I rebooted

Yes, the problem exists in a completely up-to-date gutsy (I was using
gutsy when I first reported it). As I said in my second post, simply
resizing the window causes the dvi file to be displayed properly, but it

I have the same problem. It doesn't happen always but mostly it does. Sometimes
it works.
