It's a small program which can be used to "smuggle" non LASH apps into a LASH

The problem seems to be indeed that the et131x driver doesn't work well
with a tickless kernel. I boot with "nohz=off" now and ksoftirqd's CPU
consumption is back to normal. To turn off the the messages to the
kernel log about the unhandled IOCTL I load the module with the option
"et131x_debug_flag
I've just download dvbstream and dvbtuning from synaptics.
But the problem is the same!

During the a fresh install of the Hardy heron alpha 3 this bug surfaces

The default kernel (2.6.24-4-i386 I think) doesn't work, I tried twice.
I think it kicked me out to BusyBox with some (initramfs) something
prompt, and I couldn't type anything.
The 2.6.24-4-generic worked though
Same problem with my ATI Radeon X1250 (integrated in motherboard ASUS
M2A-VM HDMI) and fglrx drivers. After enabling all special effects I got
a black screen (but it was not flashing).

Thanks for that script, Franck. I got it to work on my system. It's nice
because I can reconnect the wireless without rebooting which means I can

Just a quick update. I found out that Toshiba finally released a BIOS
update for my notebook (Satellite M30X). For me that fixed everything.
Battery-Monitor works again and the notebook doesn't shut down anymore.

Nautilus options. I guess this is related to bug #125739 but I had not

Go To System -> Preferences -> Sessions
See if Network Manager is listed more than once there.
If you do, then read the comments in the bug above and see if any of those tips

I strongly think that this can be due another DMA related issue. I
observe that DMA is not enabled on my HDDs and I'm unable to enable
themusing hdparm. I have no idea how to accomplish the same using sdparm
As a result, the drives are running slower.

I'm talking about to play VCDs from the cdrom . They have a type of file
AVSEQxx.DAT, where xx can be 01, 02,03...
Follow the above steps, insert a VCD in your CDROM, and please let me
know if you have success.
