I think Wester Digital drives are the worst affected.Mine has a power on
time of ~104 hours with a power cycle of ~370 with a Load/Unload cycle

it cannot be applied generally (e.g. for bug 179060).
I've contacted upstream and once the regression in dash is fixed (bug
177032), then the patch should get removed again.

I get a similar error on a macbook pro. The screen does not wake up
after closing and re-opening the lid. The machine is awake, though, and
can be reached via SSH at that time. Closing the lid a second time does
not appear to affect the machine in anyway, it still keeps running.

Now I can run Compiz but it is very unstable, and some things disappear,
like window borders and cube caps. Running in terminal shows that in
warnings and also tells i have no GLX, but glxinfo in terminal shows
everything is Ok about that.
