Hello I have similar problem in Gutsy 7.10.
Sometimes I connect by Ethernet and other times by DialUP.
And I have always to change my interfaces to correct connections.
May be will be useful an option as checkbox
"Always use this connection".

Ekiga keeps changing my network interface to VM

I have a bug with puredata but I don't thing the bug is in the puredata

When we close a windows in puredata we have a popup window "Close this windows
??" [Yes] [No]
Me the popup is not on the top is under the other
For me too. After Kernel update ( 2.6.22 to 2.6.24) the wireless failed.
I think that some file is missing ( ath_hal ???)

I'm almost certain this is /not/ a crash of the window manager, as the
window decoration reappears when i click to another browser tab, then
disappears again when i click back. I can go back and forth as many
times as I like, making the window manager disappear and reappear over
and over again.

Hi, I'm having the same problem (I think). I don't have access to a non-
WEP'd network to check the card without it, but upon attempting to
connect to the network with WEP, the whole system completely freezes,
requiring a hard reset.
I can confirm that my card (a generic RTL8180 based PCMCIA card)
