The new virtualbox does fix this issue Just remember to edit the /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.24-2-generic/include/linux/utsrelease.h and change the kernel version 2.6.24-2-generic The same should be done to the /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.24-2-generic/include/config/kernel.release Hope it will help. I think we can close this bug now
