(I test only my Gateway 7330gz with PC Linux)
When I check: smartctl -d ata -a /dev/hdl | grep Load_Cycle_Count
I get ~ 1 count per minute or more.
I put the same command in a chron job to run every minute, and there is no
increase any more. the HD temperature remain th
