I confirm Jordan's comment. You need both libgoffice-0.4 and
libgoffice-0.5 (will be 0.6 soon) for Hardy. The first is needed by gcu
and abiword, and the second by gnumeric. The removal of gnome-print
support in goffice-0.5 makes it impossible to use this latest version in
both gcu and abiword.
--
One more point, gcu needs goffice with gnome support, goffice-gtk is not
enough (I'll fix the requirement in 0.8.5).

Ok. I found the solution. I downloaded new driver from ati.com page,
then:
./ati-driver-installer-7-11-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg Ubuntu/gutsy
sudo apt-get install module-assistant
sudo dpkg -i /home/bluszcz/Desktop/downloads/xorg-driver-fglrx_8.433-1_i386.deb
/home/bluszcz/Desktop/downloads/fglrx
That's similar to me (ubuntu 7.10 just installed!)

After killing the process, I got the mess
FatButtLarry's solution appears to work for me: I only need to add
"killal nautilus" to that file, and no more problems. Thanks, Larry!
In short:
In the terminal:
sudo gedit /etc/gdm/PostSession/Default
Now add "killall nautilus" just above "exit 0". The file reads then as
follows:
#!/bin/sh

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: stunnel4
Currently both stunnel4 and wifi-radar are run with priority S20, and
bcause of alphabetic ordering, stunnel4 is run first. So when wifi-radar
is neded to set up the network, stunnel simply doesn't work after boot
and has to be restarted manually

dmraid and mdadm raid are two completely different modules that are
AFAIK completely unrelated. dmraid is for hardware fakeraid while mdadm
raid is pure software raid.
I've had similar mdadm raid issues though. I fixed it by running:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure mdadm
Accept the defaults and at the end

Ubuntu 7.10 Alternate AMD64 hangs at 83%, whilst "retrieving kernel-
generic", for over an hour on my Intel Q6600, 4 GB RAM, nVidia 8600GTS
before I force reboot. It was running Ubuntu 7.04 32-bit with no
problems so I'm trying again with fixed IP. There is a graphics issue
with the Ubuntu 7.10 AMD
apt-cache shows that this package is known to conflict.
