A workaround for me was to login in on a VT, run startx and just purge
gdm and reinstall. dpkg-reconfigure gdm just made things worse...
I can no longer replicate this issue. It may be an upgrade bug, so I

No, at least I don't think so, this one have a limit=4 which seems very
different than bug #42023 for which the problem seems to be around the
4GB limit of a DVD.

After getting past the 'Mount Filesystem'-Bug and the 'HW Clock'-Bug I
was beaten by no networking. I double checked every step I made,
reinstalled everything, changed the hardware to a real machine and
finally found the missing eth0.

regularly scheduled meeting an 2007-11-20.
It was proposed that libpcre3 could be moved from /usr/lib to /lib to
accomodate its use by /bin/grep. A quorum present at the meeting voted
