I just waked up this morning and hald-addon-hid-ups was using 2.8 GB of
RAM and swap. Uptime is 46 days. Please anyone, this bug is serious
and critical for server environment. I tried to put a /etc/init.d/dbus
restart line in my crontab, but sometimes a few hald-XXX daemon don't
restart properl
I am having a similar problem to this. Whenever I insert any CD or DVD,
it is not recognised by the system. If I reboot the system (with the
disc in the drive), then the disc is mounted when I log back in.

Interesting.. I hadn't noticed that it was only occurring with maximized

Same at me. Under Feisty the same Tablet worked out of the box except
the pressure. After I installed Gutsy it is listed as connected but
doesn't work anymore. Even the manual driver installation doesn't show a
result. PC is a Pentium Dual Core T2080, 1GB Ram, 80Gig HDD (Dell
Inspiron 6400n).

Just want to add my "confirmed" here: Three users on a nVIDIA-graphics based PC
here with one (me) using compiz and getting a white screen when switching from
a "normal" (Metacity) user to mine (not the other way around, though).
All this is under Gutsy.

Thank you. This fixed the immediate problem of no response from the
software and no request for me to enter passwords. I assume this was
a change in the default settings between 6.10 and 7.10, since things
worked as I expected in 6.10.

Well, actually, it is only a problem with the Spanish translation. When
using KDE in Spanish, the contextual menu shows an item labeled
"e=Extraccion segura". There's no problem in English and in French.

the problem, or your workaround did not work for them. Can you please
link to an example? I also saw that you had been asked by the driver
developers to report
