Ok, I installed them and started network manager. At first it didnt look
good, it just kept trying to connect to my WEP'ed network without even
asking me, so i connected to a neighbors unsecure AP and that connect
right away so swicthed back to mine and it connected quickly. So it

I can confirm that I too have this issue with no audio over HDMI on the

(e.g., MP3) that you were playing in Rhythmbox? It seems unlikely that
Rhythmbox, itself, would somehow corrupt the sound. Can you try to play
the same song in both Rhythmbox and Songbird, and see what happens?

I have the same problem.
I am no Kubuntu developer but what I think this is is the updating tool
incorrectly considered the message as an error during insallation and because
of that the updater reverts all the changes that it has made (including the
version change).

I have this same error on a Thinkpad T43 (2668) in Gutsy LiveCD. There
is no bay special file in /proc/acpi/ibm too. However, it was there in
Feisty. The files requested in KernelTeamBugPolicies are in attachment.

I say the package is the mount one, the problem shows up with swapon. I
suspect it's more the logical volume manager.
The problem is no swap space. Swapon complains about symbolic links.

I built the driver from upstream, but with similar results - still a
blank screen. I'll try the ConnectorTable options and see if something
