That's a great solution.
During a dist-upgrade, instead of having it show how many updated packages are
available, changing to a progress icon and showing "Distribution upgrade in
progress..." on mouse-hover.
During a regular upgrade, change to the progress icon and say "Installing

dvd playing with totem-gstreamer just sucks and somebody should fix it.
IMNSHO it's a shame for Canonical, that their favoured player can't play

For the people that this problem occurs for do you have the package
"openoffice.org" installed. It may be that some library is missing that
is needed. If so I need to track down what is causing the crash.

I just remembered to add that it happens on all files named *.mp3. I
made an empty one and named ti bla.mp3 and nautilus hanged again on
mouse over.

Same problem for me. displayconfig-gtk is unable to apply the
resolutions I want. I spend 2 hours last night and never get a result
with this tool.
The test button doesn't work, when I hit it, X restart and I fall back
to the login screen with wrong resolution.

It seems like it, after reading that bug report. I remember having some
issues after restarting apache, it would complain with some errors about
pid files. I can't seem to find these errors in any log files, but I
haven't looked too hard though.
