when the nosplash option is selected. All other options give no answer.

It is worth mentioning that this problem only shows up under some
networks. Running from "home" on charter.net this is not a problem
running from work and accessing the internet through the corporate
network it is a huge problem, rendering the sites nearly unusable.

Are there any security issues with using the users theme in an program
running as root? If not, it doesn't seem like it would be too hard to
do. (Although I don't really know the specifics of how that works)
