I went back to Feisty using included bcm43xx driver and added firmware
to /lib/firmware, worked first time at full 54G speeds. That was until a
kernel update yesterday and now the erratic and slow speeds are back,
tried both bcm43xx and ndiswrapper methods, but its now just as bad as

Tested with No XV. Video still broken, though the 'Test' button works

with built in camera. (read: very common mid-range laptop). For me it
loop through USB addresses up to 127 and then started again at 2 during

Just insert "lspci > lspci" in Terminal. After hat there should be a
file called lspci in your home directory which you can upload here. You
find xorg.conf in directory /etc/X11 .

I installed today Xubuntu gusty rc on my laptop from the Live CD. No pb
for the live cd, bootsplash ok.
After reboot, grub tempo and then a black screen... I thought of an install pb
