@ Martijn van de Streek and Konrad Paumann I am also using the X700 under Gutsy and are sometimes experiencing this error and I suspect I could have something to do with one or more of the plugins for compiz. Right now I have overrided the blacklisting and are back on track, but I do fear the error will return.
Could you perhaps provide a list of what plugins you have active, since it does not crash in your cases?
