I have previously installed feisty fawn (7.04) on my system without problems,
but when I tried gutsy gibbon (7.10rc) it hung during X setup. The video card
is an Intel 82852/855GM and the monitor is generic. I can't get the xorg config
or log because the liveboot hangs s
Ben, I had to sudo apt-get remove network-manager and network-manager-
gnome. I then installed the package. Then I reinstalled network-manager-
gnome.
And it works perfectly! I connected to a hidden network with WPA2 no
problem. I'm running Gutsy with the latest updates.

I removed all the fuse stuff and installed it, which fixed it. One thing I
removed was ntfs-3g, which I had never added. It must be in the base
install, so the fuse group just wasn't set up on installation.

ran both Ubuntu and Kubuntu Feisty Fawn, and the KDE Basket application
worked fine with both of them.
I installed basket 1.0.2-2build2 along with all required KDE
dependencies
I am running the Compiz backport for Feisty and the Java GUI apps are
working fine. I am also running Java 1.6. There is a plugin for
workaround that has a Java checkbox. Its in the CompizConfig
Settings->Workaround->Java Window Fix. I did not have to enable this
plugin for my computer.

The gedit way impose a limitation, I'm not sure that's better for the

Yes I tried that to, but it didn't work for me. I will trie to install the

I forgot to mention that the first time I plug in the camera. I unplug
it without any way of unmounting the device. and therefore the secound
time I plug it. It monts it. but it tells me that the card has an
invalid format due to the previous manual unpluging and the end result
is ... no pictures a

I wanted to access an anonymous ftp area on my house network. So I
selected Places / Connect to server.
In the resulting window I selected Service type: Public FTP. Then I
thought "oh, a browse button, let me see what it does".
I cannot get BT to connect beyond pairing in any Gusty package. So I
think this might be deeper than just the bluez-utils.
