Kees, the hpssd daemon is not packaged incorrectly. The "hplip" package

The printer sharing settings in system-config-printer only handle the
sharing between CUPS servers, they do not modify the Samba
configuration. Sharing to Windows boxes is usually done via Samba. So
check your Samba configuration.
