Another observation: Adding 'acl,user_xattr' to the mount options of my
home partition fixed most of the issues. Mail syncing is still not

I had time for a reboot. Result: same as usual. After logging in, the
WPA key windows came up very soon. After trying everything again as
before, I had to settle for killing all NM-related stuff, restarting the
access point, and starting NM. Then the login worked, as expected.

Finally got it working after recompiling kernel. After power up (with ircpoll),
errors still shows up but system is booting, PCMCIA USB card works, TV card
works (only overlay mode, grabdisplay is still hanging up from time to time),
dock USB#2 works when acpi=off.

Same here. 32Bit Ubuntu desktop. Also tried server before I found out
desktop now has HIGHMEM4G set. The BIOS only reports ~3.3G of ram. Linux
reports 3374736kB of RAM. Using vesa I can work with X just fine. As
soon as I start X with fglrx the system becomes horribly slow. mem=3G
will be my workar

I have wiped my system and installed gutsy tribe 5 with all updates and
it still does the same thing. I would really appreciate it if someone
takes a look at this. This is the only thing that is not supported on
this laptop, even the built-in camera is supported. I love it if
someone can fix it.
Fine here with Liferea 1.4.2.
I tested Liferea again after an upgrade, and it's been doing okay since.

On my 965gm desktop (detected as 82G965), which is connected to a crt
through a kvm, xresprobe reports it as a "crt" display. I'll test it
with a directly connected lcd as well...
Btw, I've posted a .deb for a fix for bug 144956 at
http://people.ubuntu.com/~bryce/Testing/xorg-server/. From what
I believe your bug is a different one from this here, as this one is on
the problem of resuming after sleep.
