away on its own, some symptoms remain:
- A blue screen shows briefly before the normal brown Ubuntu login screen
appears - this is abnormal
- If I restart from the Ubuntu login screen, the Ubuntu login is replaced by

I don't believe this is an nVidia problem...I have an ATI card in my
laptop. I think it might have something to do with express54 slot. The
message doesn't adversely effect the operation of my computer (HP
nx6125).

Ok 100Gb is no problem if majority is not text files, docs or source
code - size matters not in those cases
a non-dev will typically have loads of music and video files which will
have negligible footprint on any indexer.
A dev will likely have tons of source code and that will tax any
indexer.
