I have identical problem with this printer when I using 2.6.22 kernel with
Feisty and new Gutsy. With early version kernel e.g. 2.6.20 work perfectly,
system detect printer and install. Verified on two computers, too.
I read about this problem connected with "usb_suspend" and powersaving usb. If
I'm going to reopen this and change it to say the icon should not have
so much space around it so it is easier to see.

The kernel panic message isn't lost. Here's the output of "dmesg" from
the start of that suspend to the end of the resume. It's a kernel Oops,

I just saw this problem on a clean install of Feisty 7.04 on a T20 - it
was intermittent while I was installing, so I did actually manage to
install off the live CD. But after I enabled ACPI (by adding acpi=force
to the boot options) X never started again, just hung with a blank
screen.

If I do a manual configuration, switch off roaming mode and enter the
SSID details by hand then I can get an association and the network
works.
Process to reproduce:
Restart access point.
Restart laptop in roaming mode.

Hi Sarah
Typing the identical line in my firefox browser opens the 'site' without
a problem. I just dont want to go to the browser each time, bookmarks
and then select appropriate application / site.
The create launcher worked fine on 6.06.

I've tested the PC with Gutsy Gibbon Alpha 4 (kernel 2.6.22-9) I've had
no crash. Maybe it was just a regression triggered by something. Well,
in Gutsy the problem doesn't exist. Instead in Feisty the problem still
exist, I don't know if let the bug open or closed.

I haven't been using xfce for a long time. Now trying thunar in kde, I
can move 1000 jpg's without a problem. So it seems to be fixed in
feisty.
(In edgy this bug was very consistent: The exact number of files changed
around 110-130 i think. But I could always reproduce it.)
